Welcome to PrimeCare Medical Medical Center

We are a 100% bulk billed medical centre. Medicare Benefits Assignment forms must be completed after your appointment with the doctor. HotDoc will send you a link to provide your consent for bulk billing. Please complete this form as soon as you receive it — once submitted, it will be automatically returned to the clinic.

  • No Medicare or private funds: Full fee applies.
  • Present without valid physical/digital insurance card (including Medibank OVHC, BUPA, NIB) and Non direct bill OSHC/OVHC insurance: need to pay upfront with same rate as Medicare.
  • NIB insurance holders: a $25 gap fee per visit applies. This decision was made because NIB has refused to pay the bulk-billing incentive recommended by the Australian Government since 1 November 2025.
  • WorkCover and TAC: patients need to pay in full for their WorkCover or TAC consultation. You can then seek reimbursement from the relevant insurance company or your employer. There will be an out of pocket cost (refer to rate below).

We accept payment by Cash, EFTPOS, VISA, Mastercard only. All card payments will incur a 1% surcharge. Payment is required at the time of consultation for those who need to pay upfront or privately.

The item numbers that doctors bill depend on several factors, including the length of the consultation, the nature of the visit, and the type of services provided.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding the service you received, please do not hesitate to email us at primecare.stella@gmail.com before signing the Medicare benefit assignment form.

We aim to make the billing process transparent and easy to understand, and to treat you as a person who deserves high-quality, respectful healthcare.
